Winner of a British Council of Shopping Centres Gold Award for refurbishment Bury Street Shopping Centre has been transformed into a state-of-the-art retail centre with parking for approximately 500 cars.

The development involved the removal of canopies, high-quality public realm and creation of new frontages to existing buildings to bring the market town character of Abingdon o Thames into the shopping centre.

The refurbishment has led to a number of new tenants entering the centre, including New Look, Parsons, Vodafone, Boots Opticians, Costa Coffee, Poundland, Pandora and Pablo Lounge, along with a significant upsize of Superdrug.
